This is how We Elevated our International Women’s Day. We filled the room with great women & we did what we do best… we listened, we discussed & we bonded over a topic we are all passionate about. Each other 💪🏽 And boy did the conversation get ✨ juicy! ✨ ‘Sisterhood vs Sister Act: How can we be REAL sisters to each other, let’s do this even better’ Here’s a few snippets of our collective feels on it: 1. Committing to real conversations. Honest, kind & with love. Why let assumption or let miscommunication come between us? 2. Committing to being self aware. Looking at our own insecurities before pointing the finger at each other. If something comes up within us (you know, pisses us off) about another woman or situation, first asking what & why is that triggering within ME before I blame/turn on her. We’ve all been there! We’ve got to own our shit. 3. Showing other women that it’s ok to be vulnerable & also not perfect, letting each other off the hook from their own & each other’s high expectations! Living with compassion for OURSELVES & each other. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 🙌🏽 Powerful stuff. Thank you to @the_relationship_circle & @soulsanctuarybydanielle for leading by example & the discussions. Greenlights by (& most importantly narrate by) Matthew McConaughey: An unconventional memoir filled with raucous stories, outlaw wisdom & lessons learned the hard way about living with greater satisfaction. Today we really put the POWER into Hour of Power! Who said you can’t have amazing connection over zoom? We love small groups, we love to get real & when we get to all contribute. Today we had one great big juicy topic that we were all passionate about & added layers to… How can we show up as real, authentic & making an impact for those around us? We’re talking social media, in the messages we put out into the world, how we live day to day, the words we use, for our clients, for our kids, family, friends & for each other. See, big & juicy.
